Are heat treated and/or tempered glass any different to clean?
Yes, you should start in the right corner. Unless you want to start in the left. Don’t add too much soap or too little.
Thanks! Is that the procedure for cleaning any window? Or is that the procedure specific for heat treated or tempered? If it is why? Thanks for your timeđź‘Ť
Welcome @DPClean!
Here’s a good tip for using any forums, feel free to ask questions, we’re all here to help each other, but take the time to read a bit too. I think we’re up to about 2 years of conversations in this particular forum.
You can use the search bar to look for specific topics.
For the question you asked, a good topic to search and read about would be “Fabrication Debris”. Any and every window cleaner should be aware of this and it is very common on those tempered panes.
Thank you very much, I have been taking the time to read. There is a lot of material to cover and didn’t see it. I thought I would ask. So it’s kinda like ask but don’t ask. Maybe it would have been correct to ask me if I have read articles but couldn’t find what I was searching for. Thanks for the advice. Thanks for setting me on the right path after the obvious.
Just be careful on the job, a steel blade can scratch those windows up fast. That’s the big thing to know with those types.
Thank you I receive your wisdom. Thanks for your time and help.
