Which is first. External or Internal clean?

Which should you start first. Internal or external windows? I’m doing builders cleans.

I always did the exterior first. Then I could check my work.

Exterior first UNLESS the client asks for interior to be done first.

I like doing outside first to check myself but if they are double hung, sometimes I’ll get drips that will fall through from the inside upper pane to the outside lower. So I always do inside first on double hung windows.

Working by myself I try to get the inside done first so the customer can move about their home freely and in case they need to leave for a moment. Also, so I’m not coming into their home dirty & sweaty after cleaning outside.
