I do mostly residential. Just getting into commercial a bit. There are 24 panes on this strip front restaurant. There is mild amounts of paint spray. Otherwise just handprints and water streaks everywhere. I priced $250 for first time then $50 monthly. What do you think?
I’d be at 70-75.00 monthly. Probably 150.00 first clean unless there was a lot of debris on the windows, that needed scraping.
Well there’s enough that needs scraping, it would def take a while. Thanks! @SimplyCleanKentucky
Like what percentage of the window? If there is more scraping then yeah it would push the price up. Much success!
Maybe about 35% scraping. I just power washed the whole front of the place and just did a quick sweep with my WFP as an easy add on. They were asking for a price on routine windows, said another guy priced at $30 per month Lol! (Duh why do you think he bailed on the job) I told him about how amateurs start out trying to get all they can, then realize they are in way over their head. (no offense to any newbies) not budging any lower than I quoted. Thanks for your input @SimplyCleanKentucky
Yeah, you might need to push up the price a bit more then. If you did pressure washing, you might cut them a deal for doing it all.
I would be at $50 for inside and outside if they didn’t have a bunch of stuff to move from the windows, but only charge double for initial cleans. I’m trying to fill my customer base right now, but when I fill it up I’ll start charging substantially more for initial cleans. Right now I charge double, but most of the time I don’t apply it.
250 will scare them, 150 sounds about right first time 75 each thereafter. 125 minimum visit, I am assuming Outside only here or inside and out?
Inside/out
I’d agree with the $75ish per month but the problem with our area (East Tn) is that its a VERY poor socioeconomic area compared to most of the country. That said, every Tom, Dick, and Harry is starting up (and soon crashing) a lawn mowing business or general cleaning business and saturating the market with low-ball pricing.
Brian, I just looked up your website, I didn’t realize you were pretty much my neighbor here in E-town! Lol!
