With winter right around the corner, what projects do you have planned?

I was hoping to work on this idea I had of developing a rigid wooden water fed pole that hooks up direct to the garden tap… but then I saw you beat me to it

So instead I’m hoping to use the extra time as things get slower to get more on top of the admin side of the business.
I want to get systems and procedures in place and written down in a kind of manual so I can delegate more stuff with the confidence that things will be done the same way as if I were doing it myself.
I should sit in the office and do that kinda stuff while my crew work but I love being out their cleaning windows too much!

That’s exactly the kind of stuff we are going to be working on. I have a few other projects with our CRM & MailChimp too.
I’m prototyping some stuff couple things for storm windows, a cart and a couple other stuff.

I plan on building up and fine tuning my routes. I always find winter fantastic for getting new route work.

What is this winter you speak of? I am not familiar with that concept of which you speak.
J/K. I gerw up in south Jersey so I know how much the cold a dreary gray sky can sap your motivation and energy, but it’s friggin almost Halloween and it is still 90° here. The only downtime in Florida is after the holidays when no one has money to pay for anything because they spent it all on presents and food.
I told several of my clients to set aside funds throughout the first part of the year to tackle flat surface cleaning and sealing projects during my normal slow months to try and keep an incoming cash flow.
Tell you what, you guys get tired of the cold or bored with cabin fever, come pay the few of us on the forum in Florida or Jared out in NM a visit, and we’ll probably be able to put you to work.
