WFP water is cloudy but TDS says 0 ppm

I was using my WFP water and the water was really cloudy, my TDS meter was reading 0 ppm. I put it in a cup to measure it. I put regular tap water in and it read 65 ppm. Is my TDS meter pulling my leg or should I change the water when it becomes cloudy?

Sometimes it gets cloudy if air is in the main water if the source you are getting water from. That’s happened to me over the years. If your meter is reading 0 then theoretically you are good regardless. The cloudiness should disappear shortly though. That’s all my experience with cloudy water I’ve had.

The windows won’t have a cloudy film left behind if the water is cloudy will it?

I’ve never had that problem when water was cloudy. Water company says that’s caused by air in the line. Tiny air bubbles make it look cloudy. I would be more worried about your TDS, if it reads 000 then you should be good to go.

You can even experience this with drinking water out of the tap.

If your TDS is that low then no you will not have a problem as long as you properly scrub and rinse the frames and the glass I have seen water that way with air bubbles in it causing it to look cloudy
