I dont know to be honest. I honestly think hes faster . Idk . Straight pulls have their place but for our style of window cleaning I still prefer a pivoting pole tool.
I’m still game.

Some jobs I do all strsight pulls and some jobs I’ll use my pivoting tool. Just really depends
I agree, for really large panes straight pulls are still what I prefer.
Agreed. One day on my route, I didnt have my fliq pad, so i had to just use my Unger squeegies and switch out the tool on the pole everytime. To my amazement, the day still went by super fast. Straight pulls are underrated.
Also the variety of movements will hopefully help to prevent rotor cuff issues as u will notice after a monster day of fanning. We are only human and everything wears down eventually.
I’m hoping this isn’t going to come back to bite us when we are 70!
Also still waiting.
If Dan’s family life is anything like mine it’s going to take him at least a month to edit it!
Hi Guys, sorry for the delay. I did drag my wife out to record a storefront, and the video did not turn out good at all. I am a one man show, so I am slammed with work every day of the week with no one to video, and evenings and weekends are family time.
I don’t have a go-pro.
I don’t really know how to get this done, I thought I could just prop my iPhone on the hood of my car, but even that doesn’t really work.
If it is more productive, I could start a thread detailing my method using the backflip on storefronts in another thread and link it here?
If only @Luke could drive to Canada… sigh…
Hey buddy no worries on my end! I know the struggles of trying to film while working.
I am game any time
But it’s great to hear you’re busy!
Jeez dan you ever hear of a tripod ? No but seriously dude, nice to hear your busy, but idk if you have them in Canada but we have a store called five below. And you can get a small tripod from there for 5 bucks. If you have a decent phone, you use that. Bam. That’s how I do my videos.
Not that exactly but you get the gist of it. I use an actual tripod and camera, but if you have a decent phone you can use that too 1000%
Great point! A tri pod would work.
Go pros imo are the best. Point and shoot.
Luke you ain’t kidding. I’ve used my gopro for so many things. Lmfao
And fyi I’m still sending you and @Reanna those shirts. It’s just been wild around here. Hahaha
Hey @JoeyGee no worries man! I completely know how it goes.
O yeah . I have a 3+ , 5 , 6 and a fusion.
I love the go pros. We have a Nikon d3300, but I think we are going to get a cannon 80d.
I’ve seen so many people use the Sony cameras for vlogging. But I love my gopro and my galaxy s8+ takes phenomenal videos and pictures haha
The gopro does a great job. But the dslr does provide a much more in depth and rich picture. With a rhode microphone… you cant beat it.
But for on the go , work filming a gopro is the best.
so I’m looking into go pro’s and wanted to get your suggestion on a good start out setup so i can start making videos…what would you suggest @Luke…Thank you!
Honestly the gopro 6 would be a great start. The 7 is out but I think the 6 is just fine. Maybe a head mount , a clamp mount and for audio a rode micro or just a simple lapel microphone.
Thank you, Luke! I’ll look into it. Have a great day!
Hope it helps man!
