I have been asked alot lately what to charge for cleaning tracts. I normally do it because I am right there anyways. I have never thought about individually billing for this service. Is there a nationwide going rate for this?

I think around $2-$5 . We charge $2.00 , but if they are really bad we will up the cost. We itemize this along with screen cleaning. If the customer dosent want it we just clean the glass.

I prefer to charge everything that i clean… That includes tracks. Since the tracks i do are almost always bad, i charge from 2-5… im almost always at $5… Cuz i have to use track brush, vacuum and wipe it out. It can be time consuming. Plus i like to charge high if i can get it regardless… maybe tomorrow ill do $7 a track…

@Luke and @Derrick, thank you both for your input. I agree it is time consuming, and being up here in high desert country the tracks can be very dirty. Would you both recommend using a mixture of water and bleach? Or just wipe with a wet rag?
I never use bleach, maybe 21% peroxide if there is mold present. Trim discoloration and wear/tear is not my problem. Ill use magic eraser, sometimes that helps. That’s rare that i do that.
Normally i just use the liquid from the mop solution and wipe it out.
