I’ve been using a backflip for a while now and have been thinking about ditching it for a wagtail. Which one do you recommend?

I personally like the pivot control flipper. I use a ettore channel in it. The only the about wagtail are the sleeves dont hold a lot of water. I have a video on our channel that shows how I made my own sleeve for it.
The moreman excelerator is another solid choice imo.

Great! So if I gotta pick one to try first is it gonna be Wagtail Pivot Control Flipper or Moerman Excelerator? And if it’s Excelerator do I go original or 2.0? Thanks for the input!
Really up to you. A lot of guys including @SteveO love the 2.0. I didn’t care for it much but I might give it another go.
The 2.0 is built better and offers more functionality than the original.

I would prefer the Moerman Excelerator with 2.0 handle. You will not regret it ! Peace.

I haven’t tried out a wagtail yet but would love to!
I’ve used the Excelerator 2.0 handle with an Ettore brass 18" channel off and on for about 8 months, and used the 18" backflip for about 3 straight years exclusively. I think it’s a personal choice but if you’re asking just for the sake of conversation and for fun, I’d personally take the backflip over any swivel tool, combination or not, any day. In my opinion the backflip is the best combination tool on the market. I’ve literally used the exact same backlip t-bar since the day I began window cleaning back in 2017. Build quality is amazing.

Yeah, the wagtail just works. The angle is perfect and super useful. The moerman will adjust, but I found that I had to switch between 2 different angles depending on the type of window I was trying to fan.

Just checking is it the Moerman F*LIQ Excelerator 2.0 Squeegee Complete?
I’m pretty sure at wcr you have the option of complete or just the handle.

Was a wagtail fan and an avid highflyer user but I broke down and bought an excelerator 2.0 and use the steccone featherlight channels with it. I haven’t used the wagtail since. I also still use my backflip for many different jobs. I just can’t not use it anymore. It will always be one of my favorite tools in my arsenal.
