So I get this call yesterday:
Me: Hi this Adam with Pristine Window Cleaning.
Guy: yeah don’t you have a window cleaning company or something?
Me: yes sir, I clean windows, how can I help you?
Guy: well I have 4 windows that need to be cleaned at the office. Could you give me an estimate on cleaning them?
Me: are you interested in setting up a routine cleaning to possibly have them done weekly or every other week?
Guy: no I just want you to do them once.
Me: well for a one time clean with only 4 windows, maybe I can give you a price over the phone. Are any of the windows very high?
Guy: the highest point is about 10’.
Me: ok, my minimum for something like that is $75. How does that sound?
Guy: ok, so when can you come look at them? I wanna get a few estimates.
Me: well that’s my price sir, $75.
Guy: ok, so are you going to come give an estimate tomorrow?
Me: (now laughing) well that’s a long ways for me to drive just to look at 4 windows, as long as it’s how your describing it to me, my price is $75.
Guy: no, there’s nothing complicated about it, just 4 windows.
Me: OK, how does $75 sound?
Guy: oh that sounds great! I think it’s worth more than $75 for you to come.
Me: well you are more than welcome to pay me more than $75 if you would like. I’m actually not near my truck right now to be able to write down your address, would you possibly be able to text me your information?
Guy: well I’ll text it to you from this phone, but you won’t be able to text back because it’s a landline.
Lol!!! I finally got the guys info and I’m going to meet him today. Watch it be 4 sets of 50 windows or something like that!
