The best squeegee you can buy?

Hello everyone. I had a question. What is the difference beetween a standard 18inch channel and a18 inch super channel?
Iv done roof restoration and pressure cleaning for 15 years. I’m adding window cleaning to the business. Iv had some struggles with it but I’m starting to get the hang of it.

Hey buddy! The difference between the standard channel and a wide body is 1. The wide bodies are designed to withstand a lot of wear due to a thicker cut of metal they won’t bend as easily. 2. It’s all personal preference, I prefer the weight and feel of a wide body for say commercial work over a standard channel. It all comes down to your personal preference.

Thanks Luke! You guys are great!

A wide body channel is better for longer channels as it distributes the pressure along from handle to channel tip much better than a slimline regular channel

Thanks guys!
Hey dose the unger ninja fit on the Mormon exeloratore swivel handle?

no the ninja wide body will not fit on an excelerator handle… well maybe i guess you could make it work… but i wouldnt. too heavy

All good I tried it yesterday in the shop. I’d definitely don’t work.
Have you tried the ettore backflip? If so how do you rate them?

I have and I think it may have its place but it’s just too heavy of a tool. With tools like wagtails and the excelerator I would personally never use it

Thanks.
I just used my Mormon boab and I really like it.
It dose swivel the same as ninja but it seams stiff and well control’d. I don’t have any wet leg.
I also am using the Mormon pouch and the bottle holder can fit a 10 inch applicatior very snug. They are Andy and comfortable tools.

I got an awesome deal at a goodwill when I found a brand new ettore backflip for $2. But I have only used it once since I bought it because it is a heavy tool and I also have the Moerman accelorator so the backflip kind of sits in the shadows and watches the accelorator do its thing. The sleeve on the backflip also isn’t as good as the Moerman sleeve. That’s just what I have noticed when working with it.

The guy in the window cleaning shop was trying to sell me the backflip and talk me out of the the exelorator. The backflip was about 70$

Wow that is expensive for a backflip! I think the accelorator is a much more useful tool!

Hey the tools are much more expensive over here.

It cost me about -70$ for the Mormon rig the other day.
I think the exelorator was 30-35$ the Chanel with the rubber 18inch was 18$ and the fliq pad was about 25-30$

Excelerator is much more useful and much lighter. But go with a 14 or 10, not an 18. At least at first, the 18 is really hard to learn on.

Yes I thought the 18 was hard to use I have a 14 now but I need to get the 14 fliq it’s much easier.
I was thinking about getting the wagtail high flyer. To learn or doing Luke’s modification to The explorator.

Highflyer is pretty cool. 14 is a good one to start with. 10 is a little monster, one of my faves.
