I’ve got a lady who wants me to clean the windows in a home she’s putting up for sale soon. The home has 13 storm windows that are 2-foot x 3-foot and 3-foot x 3-foot and there are two sliding glass doors. All can be reached from the ground except two that will require a ladder. No screens, tracks, sills or frames. Just the glass. She says they are very dirty, but her husband got a pane out and scrubbed it with some very good cleaner and they will come clean (this made me laugh).
I’m thinking $50 per window. Does anyone else have an opinion they would be willing to share?
Eh…did you mean $50 per window or was that a typo. I’m lucky if I can get up to $20 on storms. Some of the other guys are higher than me but still…seems a bit much in my opinion.
@AdamPWC, I meant $50 per window. I hate French panes and I hate storm windows. Storm windows I think I could get it down pretty good with a system, but French panes are my Cryptonite. It’s like when I get done squeegeeing them there was more water than before I began. I’ve got to make a tripod/stand for the storm windows like Luke has in his videos.
