Restaurant Cleaning Frequency

So I’m curious about what kind for cleaning frequencies everyone runs into when cleaning restaurants?
I just picked up an Arby’s and the first cleaning was this morning. The owner only wants it done once per month? I’m assuming the rest of the time and by the state of the windows he has his staff wet rag them down. To me as a restaurant I’d want the exterior done much more regularly as it’s part of the image to be a clean environment you want to eat in, but maybe some just don’t care?

Excellent question! For restaurants & fast food places I only offer weekly and Bi weekly because at a certain point monthly cleaning isnt worth it for them due to high traffic and the windows constantly being dirty. In fact they may get discouraged easily with a monthly service if they see the windows get dirty again after you leave vs going every week or every 2 weeks you will be regularly to maintain them to the best you possibly can. Exterior only is pointless and not reasonable for those kind of places because the insides always get dirty with grease/fingerprints etc. Its automatically inside and out when it comes restaurants for us.

Ya, the monthly kind of threw me off as I gave him a weekly and a bi-weekly price, but when he called me up on Monday said he only wanted it done monthly, and asked if I’d honour my bi-weekly price. It’s not that big, and I figured well the $60 is $60. Even with having to wash a number of them twice today because I was having issues with my 18” it only took me 70 minutes. I figure I should be down around 45-50 minutes for it if I don’t screw things up. It’s only 25 panes but would definitely prefer it on a weekly basis to keep it looking good. Shift manager said it looked really good when I left.

What gpproservices said. Bi-weekly or no one is really happy

Yeah, especially with Arby’s, their windows get nasty. I’d suggest every 2 weeks and maybe raise the price by $10 for every 4 weeks (NOT monthly).
