HI guys,
I think you’re honesty to say that some tools arent up to scratch is awesome.
I can think of loads of other areas where maufacturers respond to negative feedback - would your latest smartphone/tablet/tv/computer be what it is today if people reviewing them all said nice things about crap products? NO. They listen to what people who actually use the product thinka bout them in real life and then change their manufacturing process to create the BEST they can do for JoeBloggs.
Do you think Apple said to themselves “looks alright to us” or Samsung went “yeah that’ll do for now”??? The same thing should happen in our industry, if the tool is good say so, if it sucks, say that too. The manufacturer should then go - " they said this was good, we’ll keep this but that part that doesn’t work as we thought it should WE need to change"
GO FOR IT
look forward to your reviews and future videos!!!
what does anyone else think??
I posted this in another thread, but saw this one so deleted it an am posting it here.
@Luke, I don’t know if you’ve gotten much feed back on this, but I give a sincere thanks to you for posting this stuff about companies. I would really like to hear about the good things too, but kudos, man. Coming from someone who is just trying to get into window cleaning and every freaking penny counts - seriously - I think it’s phenomenal. Not enough people post stuff like this because everyone jumps down your throat. It will be seriously interesting to see who will try to jump your case and how many of them think, “Oh, jeeze, I didn’t realize how to get this was off base. What do the customers want?” I mean what an amazing chance to show people that you’re trying to keep the products superior. Holy cow, man. That’s great. I just wanted to tell you that you’re really do a great, great freaking justice to window cleaners and prospective window cleaners. Thank you.
Thank you guys! We honestly wasnt going to make that video. We were going to wait, but Tucker was not very happy with what we had to say. I felt they tried going behind us to shut us up. We wanted to simply voice our honest opinion. A full review on that Tucker pole will be released soon.
I would say honesty is admirable and the LTWC YT channel is a very intensive and helpful service to fellow window cleaners.
My only reservation is that if my customer was unhappy with a job I did, I would hate to think they would broadcast my failings to the public and fellow cleaners before talking to me about where I fell short and how I might improve or remedy the situation. A manufacturers position is a little different from that of a service provider like us however. Despite that even large companies are run by individuals. We are all capable of taking things personally.
The review isn’t up yet. It will be up on our channel in a few weeks. I posted in our community tab on YouTube in regards to a specific pole from the Tucker line.
