Property Management companies and Business Credentialing Services

Is it standard with a property management company that vendors to pay a third party company (Business Credentialing Services) to keep tabs on your insurance and WCB?

On their vendor page:
"An annual fee of two-hundred and ninety-nine dollars ($299) will be paid directly to BCS for verifying that your relevant insurance coverage and licensing meet all requirements.?

This is an established company, but it seems they’re pushing their expenses onto the vendor. As a business owner, I need to cover my expenses and taking a $300 hit before I even get a phone call about a job smells like a garbage deal for me.

There are plenty of property management companies out there. I’m just wondering if this is standard and I need to eat it, or just move on to the next company?
