Pricing Quotes: What would you charge?

What is FD? I understand that you have to be much more careful with scraping tempered glass but I’ve never heard of that.

About what kind of percentage would you add for construction cleaning? I haven’t really gotten into that much?

Well it usually depends on the debris that’s on the glass.

Fabricating Debris, basically dirty glass from the glass manufacturer. Look it up online, plenty of info on the subject. You do need to be careful, there is methods of cleaning that can cut down on the risk of damage if FD is present, @Luke has some videos on scraping.

Ok cool, I’ll check it out. I’m know to be careful with a blade and to listen and feel for a gravel like finish. So far I have found a few methods even without a blade to scratch glass but fortunately it’s never been an issue “yet”. Hopefully I’ll never have to use my insurance that I’m always paying for! -thank you!

Make sure you have CCC or care, custody and control rider. General liability won’t cover damage you cause, if you did ruin glass on accident. You have to ask for it, you might have already. Just a heads up.

I think I put my agent through the wringer asking about all that I’m covered for. I offer more than just cleaning. Apparently some companies will cover it under gen liability and others require CCC. According to my agent, I should be covered for just about anything I do. Haven’t had any claims to file yet so if the day ever comes, hopefully they follow through with what all they have assured me of.
