Pricing jalousie windows

So, I have never seen these type of windows before. I am wondering what you guys do to clean these and how you would price these?

Ahh… lovely louvered windows!!! I don’t see them that often anymore. I know there is the sorbo tricket which is a hand held device made to clean both sides at the same time. It might be worth picking up if you have a bunch to clean. Not sure how good it works but if you do a search online you will see it. I think WCR sells it. I think the few times I saw them I just used my small 6 inch strip and squeegee and did it that way. Takes some time and is a bit awkward so charge accordingly. It has been so long I’m not sure what I charged.

I’ve done a few but it has been awhile. Those were very popular before air conditioning in houses. Sometimes people call them Miami Windows. They’re actually a very engineered product but are pretty much extinct due to being extremely inefficient. The tricket is the right tool but you may not get enough of those to justify the cost of the tool. It’s been about 4 years since I did some. I want to say 1.50 per louver sounds close. Good luck and happy bidding!

Update: Homeowner was impressed with initial trial offer (10 windows in and out with screens for $79) I gave her. I put a $1.00 price tag per strip on the windows, with 17 strips per window (9 windows) at $156.00 for the porch. I really just want the experience. I ended up having her let me schedule an appointment to do the porch and the rest of the house.
