Post Construction Estimate

What would you charge for this? Post construction window cleaning, exterior only. At least 10 homes a month. IMG_1645 IMG_1646 IMG_1647

With 10 homes per month…idk maybe 275-300. Its hard to say I dont know how the bad the debris is. Some builders are better than others at keeping the debris off.

Do you do storefronts?

275-300 for just exterior?

No we don’t do many storefronts. Primarily residential.

Absolutely! My current minimum for any detached 2-Story house exterior window cleaning is $300.

For post construction @Luke will confirm this, you will need ladders and MUST be nose to glass with steel wool, scrapers and solvents for caulking.

I typically double my rates for a post-construction clean. If you are getting 10 per month, and you know the amount of work involved, I’d maybe waive the double fee and just go for $300 per house. But, only if I was confident that I could get each house done under 3 hours.

It also appears you are dealing with a developer. They will require insurance and workers comp. So, your competition is not bucket Bob.

Imagine if they googled a big window cleaning company in your area, and told them they needed post construction cleans on 10 houses per week. What do you think they would say? My gut feeling is that it would be more than $300 per house. I could be wrong.

Also, from your pictures I see at least one sticker on the inside. I would try to get job for the windows inside and out, maybe give a HUGE discount for doing the insides. Like, $300 per house exterior and only $400 for inside and out.

@Addisonwindow

If you get this gig. Invest in a good pressure washer, and work this lead for siding maintenance. If this is an HOA you could have a huge amount of work. And pw pays a lot better than window cleaning.

To me it looks like about 20 windows. At $8 a window, for a routine cleaning, that would be $160 for inside and outside. Double it, for construction cleaning and you’re around $300 for inside and outside. Wouldn’t just the exterior go for less than that?

I do have a 4000 psi 4gpm pressure pro washer with a CAT pump. I’ll have to look into that. Thanks

Please just don’t rely on pressure alone to get anything done. Visit PWRA and learn as much as you can.

I don’t know, but I hate per window pricing on Residential, and I would hate it even more on post construction.

Also, consider what is easier for the developer to understand with this volume of homes. $8 per pane per house, or $300 per house exterior only. You are not dealing with homeowners. Developers or HOA, don’t want to get into details, they just want a price, period. Find your flat rate and use it.

Agreed! We work for a builder that throws us anywhere from 2 - 4 ccu new builds every month. Easy in and out maybe 2 hours around $300.00 . Flat rate easy work and great customer.

Looks like 40 plates of glass. So whatever your normal rate is for residential plus double or triple depending on how much time it takes to get the cc off. I would not trust the other jobs on my bid unless he would sign and agreement. And make sure he signs a waiver before you start cleaning. We have them on our site to download
