A possible solution would be to use this:
Cut into tiny strips and wedge jet into the hole. The metal will bite into the plastic and hold the jet firmly in place.
I usually refrain from suggesting hacks to resolve a product issue but this may suit you better than getting a new brush.
Not many folks have this problem.
