Ninja Leaving Water Trails

At the end of this video Luke’s using a squeegee that isn’t leaving any streaks along the edge of the window. I have a Ninja and it leaves a trail of water along the sides and top and bottom when I squeegee it. I’ve reduced it greatly by reducing the amount of lather I put on the window, but still leaves some. Does anyone know how to get past it?

Check the rubber first and see if it has a nick in it or something on it. Try flipping the rubber or changing it.

I bought three channels and each of them do it. There’s nothing wrong with the rubber at all. Any idea?

Could be the length of the rubber. I trim just a hair off mine so that it sits in just a little bit more in the channel.

Too much off and it won’t work correctly.

Hope this might help.

Luke I recently got a 22 inch moerman. I have been washing windows since 86 and for the life of me I can’t get this thing to work. I’m leaving an edge and have watched hours of videos on how to use it. It seems to me the length weight ratio is way out of whack. I love the swivel handle and the lightness of the tool. Please shoot me all possible tips!!

David when I started using the liquidator with excellerator handle I had issues to. I watched video after video because i wanted it to work. Here are a few things I noticed many videos say you need more soap but I was adding to much, just make sure the glide is good and don’t over think this like I did. I also tried learning when I was in my busy season so I was trying to just go fast, once I slowed down played with the angle I was using and amount of pressure needed that helped. But a big thing I cut my own rubber and had cut these not perfect and that really caused issues. If you cut the ends to much of a point they don’t stay in place and will leave streaks or it will not be held in place correctly. I also use the Unger plastic clips because the rubber was moving slightly. Also I personally stoped using Ettore rubber it felt to sticky I personally found the Moerman or black diamond worked best. Just remember you need to develop new muscle memory once you get it you will be set. Moerman channels are all I use now.

I have the Ninja in 14, 18 & 22inch, I have given up with them apart from the 22 inch which I find works fairly well on straight pulls. The 14 & 18 just left to much water on the glass. It’s not down to me because I can change to other makes and all is good. Currently the Ettore master brass with pro handle :ok_hand:t3:
