Excited to start up a new partnership with a local company that does spider and fly spraying services.
Here in New Zealand we get a lot of issues with spiders and flys both on the exterior and interior of houses. A good deterrent is a spray that lasts 10-12 months, only problem is that it leaves the spray residue on the windows. Hence clients need to have the windows cleaned about 7-10 days afterwards.
Local company owner phoned me Friday to see if we could join up and sell each other’s services. Going to meet up tomorrow night to work out some advertising and how we can best work with each other.
Will let you all know how it goes.
Is this something that you can work with in your location / country?
Man this is a great idea ! I’ve tried networking with only 1 pest control company with no luck. But maybe he wasn’t the right guy. Please update us and let us know how it works out!
Networking is always good, I’d say. Only you need to know the other companys work ethic and so forth, so you will not get a bad reputation because you recommended them.
Here in Helsinki that seems to be easier said than done, all networking has resulted a zero. Apparently everyone thinks it’s always a competitor, regardless whether you services are similar.
Update.
So I met with the owner operator of a pressure washing company and we had a really good open chat about each of our businesses, what we do, where we go and the services we each offer to commercial or domestic clients. As we talked we both sort of found ways where we could complement each other by coming in either before or after a certain job situation. This was a couple of months ago but I’ve sent him probably 4 or 5 leads and he’s sent back a couple to me to follow up on.
So, so far so good. It’ll be interesting to see how it develops this year…
