Hi everyone. I have never seen any screens like these and can’t figure out how to get them out. They don’t seem to have any springs or clips
Push up and down on the frames, they are spring loaded. Whichever way it moves, pull on the opposite end.
Interior screen typical for crank out style similar to pella. Designed to flush fit on the inside so that the window can be opened outward. Like Dan said spring loaded to either top or bottom.
I found it much faster to just crank the window open wfp both sides then just brush the screen from inside. If the house has settles at all and no longer square those can be tough to get out. JMO
Perfect. Thank you for the advice guys. I’m doing this job Monday. I think I will do the water fed pole technique.
It’s off topic, but during this COVID thing, I personally am not entering people’s homes. If you do the crank method, maybe you could get the home owner to crank them open for you? Might be safer.
Its an empty house going on the market. Other than these I’m not entering homes. I figured out how to get them out. Just felt like I was going to break it at first.
