My kind of detergent

This usually my go to detergent for my mops as to deal with odor. I have not been satisfied with just throwing it into wash as it usually retains odor still. This products or equivalent sodium percarbonate is great for neutralizing odor cause by organic in nature.

I also use this for my scrim towels because it works as well as bleach but without the damaging effects that normally cause on some polyblend and natural fiber. pH is around ten with oxidizing effect that will kill odor causing bacteria.

I just usually throw all my stuff in a 5 gallon bucket with 2 oz or 4 oz of percarbonate and let it presoak for 10 mins or more. Drain it and dump into washing machine. Then i put it on speed wash with no detergent add as water will rest of the work.

You can substitute percarbonate with %27 hydrogen peroxide such aquasilk
If you want less residue but you’ll still need to add a little bit detergent to it.

I use these products all the time in my carpet cleaning side of biz. Work amazing.

Hey, where do you get your 27% h2o2?

Amazon or pool supply store if they got em. Were rubber glove or you skin will turn white and sting like hell.

Aquasilk or baquacil

I generally prefer powdered stuff. Stable and safer.

Oh yeah, I know all about those chem burns! Ouch! I’ve said before I used to be a carpet tech and I would just use what my shops would supply. It was a go to for many jobs with spot cleaning.

Oh yeah i forgot about that. Couldn’t remember who. I like have the stronger stuff for urine issues

Yeah I love it for many issues such as urine. My wife always gets so worried if anyone spills coffee or wine anywhere, I’m like chill out, I’ve got this. Hydrogen peroxide knocks it right out. And in some circumstances it’s great for browning or wicking (whichever you wanna call it) just need it in larger quantities at that point.
