Yes! I strapped the ladder at the top and secured the feet to the deck. I couldn’t drop it if I wanted to. And I wore a climbing belt that I could easily hook up to the top. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been working with both hands on a pole at the top of a ladder with a 20’ drop to the ground level.
