I was watching a video where @SteveO was saying that he had finally settled on a soap after several years of looking and Jordie (@TheWindowCleanse) is who he heard it from. I found the website at Meyers Soap.
I was wondering if anyone else had used this soap and what your thoughts are? Does it leaves that film on the window and does it leave nearly as much as other soaps? What about when it’s mixed with Glass Gleam (SteveO mixed it with the Unger cleaner).
I use Mrs.Meyers every day, I wanted to be as natural and earth friendly as i could so i tried many plant based and organic soaps and i really enjoy this soap.
They do have many scents and ive notice a couple of the scents dont glide as well (perhaps different ratios in ingredients) but the blue bell, peppermint, lavender and geranium have been my go toos.
Ive used it on everything this past year with no chemicals added at all and ive been able to sufficiently clean everything ive come across including bad constuction cleans and resturant overhead doors(greasy).
I havnt tried mixing with anything for the winter yet but im sure ill have to figure something out for freezing.
Does it leave a haze/film on the window like other soaps or does it come off clean like Glass Gleam?
I’ve never used GG so i couldnt say I would compare it to dawn. It doesnt leave a film, but I do find it easy to over soap my mop. (Could be the way I apply the soap)
