Marketing photos

Hello everyone im new here in the forum. I clean windows here in San Diego and I’ve started my own business. I have a question for Luke. How do you take your photos for your company website or instagram? Do you hire a professional photographer or do you just set up a go pro? Anyways, thank you for your time.

I’m not Luke… but I see you haven’t gotten a reply yet so I thought I’d chime in.

Always have a good smartphone. If you’re serious about your business, you should definitely invest in a smartphone with a really decent camera. My personal recommendation is a Google Pixel 3 or 4. XL or not XL, the camera is amazing on this phone. You will be taking professional, high-resolution photos for use on your website and Insta and no one will know it’s not a DSLR quality camera.

Go-Pro is a good wide-angle camera. If you’re trying to get close, but capture the full side of the house, a wide-angle lens is a good idea. However most phone camera’s are about 8mm analogies, so essentially this is a wide angle lens. I personally love the Pixel for it’s portrait photo mode, so I can get close to the thing I’m trying to get people to focus on and blur out the rest. It makes it look like you’re using a 50mm lens on a DLSR camera.

Anywho, that’s my 2 cents. There are some other great camera phones out there. Look into LG if Google isn’t your thing. Apple is Apple, so there’s really no recommendation there… The Google phones have out-preformed every Apple phone out there year after year, so I really couldn’t recommend even the most die-hard Apple fan to go with an iPhone if they want the phone to be the best at photos…

I should probably plug this in there if I’m going to talk a big game about my photos … www.instagram.com/mossaway

Thank you so much

Sorry for the delay.

We use a go pro for our pictures. We take them ourselves.
