Keeping credit cards on file, how to?

Hi all! First post on this forum!

So I must have one trustworthy AF face because a large majority of my commercial clients just give me their credit card information so I can charge them if they are not there or just so they don’t have to worry about pulling out a card.

I currently keep these cards in an encrypted file but this becomes a pain since its only accessible via my desktop.

Anyone here uses a CRM or other mobile software that securely stores customer CC info?

I appreciate any and all feedback!

Welcome @HeatherTheWindoWoman, glad you made it to the site! Look forward to your post, this is a great forum to learn from one another.

We use Square to proces CC payments, so probably won’t answer your question. We do 95% residential though.

Thanks for the reply. I use something similar, Flint. I have a hard time getting a straight answer no matter who I ask :persevere:.

thanks, that’s the goal !

@HeatherTheWindoWoman @SimplyCleanKentucky square has an option to store credit card info for each customer. Look under customer info tab

Correct, we do, only shows the last four digits I believe.

when you charge them does their cc come up with their account info via the app? I’l have to check that out. Flint has a way to store cc info via desktop site but not via the app.

I don’t personally use it to store the CC, I just always see it as an option when I use the app. I like square for when I need it, but Most of my $$$ is checks and cash. I would recommend trying it out.
