Is it 6 windows or 3 windows and how would you price it for full detailing. It’s an initial clean which hasn’t been done for at least 2 years.
To me it’s basically a construction clean as there are cobwebs, lots of dirt and grit.
It took me 45mins to do them how long would it take you.
Hey @Clearview! Those needed some work for sure! It’s kinda tough to put a price on it since only sections of the windows are shown. Try getting some overall pics next time around.
I always carry a dustpan broom on my belt with me, that helps a ton with the cobwebs and surface dirt. Then I’d use one of my abrasive window mops, steel wool, and a scraper blade as long as it’s glass that can be scraped.
I’m going to do a house that dirty today, I didn’t price as much as a construction clean, but maybe in between CCU and standard. If you can run CCU pricing on it though then great. Charge what they’ll pay!
@AdamPWC yes I realised afterwards that it would be hard to price due to the photos.
These are 6 panels of glass about the same size as a patio door.
I currently do the following to clean them.
- Brush down and remove cobwebs and dirt.
- Blow out the frames with a hand blower to remove concealed dirt.
- Wash down the frames with a hand mit
4.Scrape out frames with a cloth to remove stuck on dirt and spider sacs.(there is normally quiet a few spider sacs) - Wash and detail windows.
It takes me 45 mins to do this (I’m not the fastest at the moment) and given the size of the house 5 bed single storey it would be around 9 hrs work. Granted the windows look great after they are done.
