If you can’t use a razor, how do you get pine sap off glass?
Oil Flo or Goof Off Heavy Duty. Depending on how long it has been there may not come completely off.

Do those solvents eat the window seals?
Like if you had a window you could only access with a pole, would it be safe to fixie clamp some solvent on a rag and then rinse after, or do you need to be really sure the solvent doesn’t drip to the seals even diluted?
AWIndow - yes you want to make sure that the product dwells on the glass and not surrounding areas. But if it is a high reach it will be difficult to control. I have used this type of product with a sponge and should be good. If possible may want to ladder up on that glass.
