How about steal wool? Do you use it on all new jobs?

What’s the difference beetween bronz and steal wool. When should a window have steal wool used in it?

Steel wool is more abrasive but it will rust. Bronze wool is what we typically use for wfp work but for really dirty jobs we will wrap that bronze wool pad with some steel wool.

I use steel wool cause it’s cheap to purchase when doing trad. Bronze wool on bad like @Luke on pole in a y adaptor.

I’ve been using bronze wool exclusively the last 2 years. Buy both and experiment for yourself what’s best for you.

We use steel wool often, I believe it really get the window clean. Removes all that organic matter and makes for smooth glass. We love it, adds a little more time, labor wise but the quality you can’t beat!

Absolutely! Love 0000 steel wool. Bronze is what I prefer for wfp but nothing better than 0000 steel wool for trad.
