Greasy windows

Greek restaurant windows, small place, very oily smeary film on inside glass. Any advise on what to clean them with as far as solution goes? Add pixie dust maybe? LOL.

I use squirt bottles. So for greasy restaurants i add more soap to the bottle. For a house i add just a little. I don’t add soap to the bucket because each stop might be different.

You may try one pass with TSP in water. TSP is excellent at removing oil & grease and is typically found in your local hardware stores paint isle. It is the go-to product for removing oily residue from walls before painting - without removal the paint would bubble and peel.

TSP can sometimes leave white crusty spots if your dilution is too chemical heavy. I’d recommend using one mop with TSP and letting it sit on the windows and just let it sit. Once you’ve done a once-over pass, mop it up with a clean soapy mop & squeegee it. Make sure to add clean soapy water to your mop & ring out mop into bucket, but don’t dip back into discard bucket. Just keep adding clean soapy water and ring it out as needed.

Let me know if that works! I’ve only ever done this once but it worked REALLY WELL! Thick, greasy grime with break dust & god knows what else (busy road-side location). I would definitely do it again.
