I’m hoping someone could point me in the right direction to learn effective Facebook and Google marketing.
I currently have a facebook page and google page, both with 5 star reviews, but I don’t really know what to do from here?
I have a small budget ($500ish), what is the best way to use that to grow my business?
Currently, I’ve been taking advantage of free printing at the place I took business training and then hand delivering fliers and post cards. I’m hoping I can develop something more effective.
Thanks
@AWindowCleaner Is your Google page complete? This is one thing that costs nothing, and does make a difference. Also, post to this page weekly. You should be getting emails that let you know when your post is about to expire. These posts will show up on the first page. You can also set up adwords and for a little money you can run adds. Just set a small budget, really narrow it down to where and who it shows to.
Hey @roofcleaner,
I believe my Google page is complete.
When you mentioned posting to this page weekly, which page did you mean? The Google page or Luke’s community?
What kind of monthly budget would I need to get started with Google advertising?
When you mention Google advertising, are you meaning adwords?
I know there are methods to getting better results with adwords. I’m going to look up training on Lynda since I get that free with my library membership. Any tips you would recommend?
Post to your google my business page.
Yes, I was talking about adwords. You can set your budget to what you want. It will depend on the competition in your area. Do a search with the keywords for what you do, window cleaning, pressure washing, and see what adds pop up. I was running adds with a budget of $200 a month. These adds worked great. I just really narrowed it down to what day they ran, and what time. Also only ran in certain zipcodes. This year we are going for more growth, so I am spending much more monthly and opening up the zipcode areas
I realize this question will depend on each company and ad indivitually, but what has been your typical click to conversion ratio?
I’m working on getting individual landing “home” pages set up for each ad so I can track their effectiveness as well. My plan is to set it up so I can track the ad all the way to conversion.
