Gloves for the wintertime

I’m wondering what you guys use in the way of gloves. I want gloves that are very warm (I have trouble with my fingertips going numb), the thinnest possible and waterproof. Any ideas?

Work faster.

I’ve never found gloves that I liked. Bucket full of hot water to defrost the mop, squirt bottle full of washer fluid, a bunch of towels, and work fast. Dip the mop in your soap water, wring it out, use the washer fluid from the squirt bottle to re-wet, then work fast.

I never put washer fluid in the bucket because if you use too much you waste it and if you use too little it doesn’t work. So use a squirt bottle and you’ll always have the right amount.

Dang… you dont use gloves at all?

No kidding, not at all? My hands suffer like crazy when they’re not in three pairs of gloves during the winter time. Where do you live? How do you keep the water in your bucket hot all the time?

I never cared for gloves when I did do winter cleanings, I really don’t now, seeing we don’t do window cleaning period in the winter

I cleaned in Durango Colorado and the coldest was -16. It’s not as bad as the Midwest but still sucked.

I tried a bunch of different gloves but didn’t like any of them.

Have you tried the cotton knitted gloves with the latex over them? Not too bad imo

We used that but put the neoprene gloves over them. Never really got used to it, didn’t use them much but my wife sure did, lol.

Cotton gloves like this?

Mmm kinda but even thinner.

Like these. The real cheap crappy kind lol.

When you wrap them with latex gloves does it keep your hands warm enough? My problem is my fingertips and toe tips. I can deal with my toes getting cold, but my finger tips get so freaking cold it’s like it makes the rest of my body cold. I expect it’s because the blood runs through my fingers and gets cold then goes back through my body.

Well kinda lol. If that’s the case you wouldnt like this setup. We do just because you still have a lot of dexterity. Maybe a bulky glove would be better for you. It will be more difficult to detail with a big glove fyi.
