First day with WFP and screen washer, need a little advice

I tested out the WFP system recently and I like how everything is working with the XERO 40 foot pole and the DI tank from Window Cleaning Resource. The screen washer is amazing as well.

Three questions I need to ask this very informative community. First question is, I forgot to install the uni valve on my WFP, I know how to do it now. But how do I turn it on and off?

Number two, I noticed my bronze wool attachment was not scrubbing this white/grey substance off the window, I am wondering if I need a special cleaner ahead of time and how I would go about putting that on a water fed pole then washing it off after scrubbing.

Lastly, is there a way to remove paint off of screens with the screen washer? My only complaint was the screens were clean but paint is still not coming off. Just unsure of how it comes off.

You just tug on the hose , that’s how it operated.

Do you have a photo?
Sounds like it could be oxidation. That you will have to scrub and rinse until it runs clear. But a photo would be most helpful.

No the screen washer won’t remove paint from screens. I never remove paint from screens our price only includes removing dirt.

I don’t have a photo unfortunately. But thank you for getting back to me. I can definitely see these tools saving me a bunch of time.

One more thing. How long do the windows take to dry on a day that is not sunny or clear?

All depends really but could take 45 min or so.

The screen washer will get paint on the screens clean. It won’t take it off but they painted them so they must want it on the right?

If not consider offering rescreening service. $25-35 on the spot 10 minutes work.

It’s probably screen oxidation.

Fill a 5 gal bucket with soap and water.
Dunk whole wfp brush and bronze wool attachment.
Scrub repeatedly and rinse until it’s gone.

May have to ladder up and magic eraser.

@Jacob
So glad the Xero System is working for you. I know I am old and memory is bad but when did you order. I know in our consultation you looked at financing but must have just paid cash. Can you pm me your order number. Thanks

It’s working but it’s costing me a bit more time than usual because I’m new with it. I’m going to be posting an update shortly on my experience with WFP. I can PM you the order number, I paid cash because I recently received a huge down payment on an estate cleaning.

It’s really annoying because I have no idea if I am actually scrubbing stuff out and then stuff is still being left on the glass, it’s frustrating because it’s eating up a bunch of time.

If you get a system going like scrub frames then scrub top then up and down one stroke with brush then one with bronze then a rinse stroke you will be confident the glass is clean. You are in the transition stage now which is hard when changing from traditional cleaning. It will get easier with each job and you will be thanking yourself for switching in a few months. Hang in there.
