Photos of the rear of the home.
there are 30.2 panes of hand rail glass.

!

From the photos I’ve seen here I’d be at around $300.00 for interior & exterior window cleaning only. More for screens and sills

I agree with Luke that would be about our price.

Unsure why, but it’s not allowing me to post all of the photos.
I came up to $100 just on the deck hand rail glass 30.2 panes. I tried to post again and it told me since i’m new that i can’t post more than a photo at a time lol. I have 27 to post and a video.
I also have to travel about 40 minutes to even get here.
You’ve only seen half of the home I think.
They want it done two-four times a year.

With screens and sills?

Of course. Both.for one person this could be almost 8- 10 hours.

8-10 hours …idk I think 4 max. But I’d wfp. I shoot for around $100.00 per man hour. So if it’s going to take 8 then I’d be in the range of 700-800

Good evening everyone. I have a estimation question. So to figure out sq ft of a window it is length × height. A site I came across says once you do the multiplication you then divide that number by 144. What is the 144 for? Any help would help

I think that’s for calculating board feet for lumber.

I asked a contractor friend and he said the 144 comes from 12×12 for a sq ft makes sense from a contractors point of view. We will see if the bid works out.

You would only divide 144 if your calculating in inches. 36 inches multiplied by 36 inches is 1,296 inches. Divided by 144 and you get 9 Sq ft. Or just multiply 3 foot by 3 foot and you get the same thing.

Thats true, Its a whole new process for me. Thats what I like about this page is there is knowlege and people wanting to learn. Thank you Addisonwindow

Are you charging per square footage for windows? That seems like a complicated way to charge for windows.

Per the banks request yes, the other bidder did the same thing. Especially for tint removal, it is a long process. I have tried both ways with ammonia and soap and water combo, and steam cleaner. This bank wants everything accounted for.
