Estimate help on hard water stain windows on Elementary School

I am fairly new to window cleaning. I approached a local elementary school about cleaning their windows. They seemed very interested and have several sites in mind that they could use some help. Right now, however, they are allowing me to bid on these windows with hard water stains, outside cleaning only. There are 90 window panes on this wing that they want a bid on and 120 panes on another wing. (Photo below). I am not sure how to bid this project because I know that it is labor intensive to get the hard water stains out. However, if i do a great job, it could open up more opportunities. I have been using A1 Hard Water Stain Remover. Not sure if there is a better product out there. Any advise would be appreciated.

That’s an awesome opportunity! I personally use easy clean from THIS website, you’ll see photos of how it did, I didn’t use anything more than an abrasive pad, steel wool can be used if it’s more stubborn. I personally charge 8$ a pane for hard water removal and I guarantee that 90% will be removed (corners are hard to hit for me). You might want to charge a lower fee because of volume, but it all depends on your area. Good luck!

Thanks for the input. I will review the website.

I use A-1 too, but that might need a stronger chemical, like cc550. A-1 May take several applications, I guess you could try it out first then go from there. We charge 2.5 times our normal rate.

Thanks for the information. I will look into cc550.

$30 per pane for HW stain removal
Mr. Hard Water is a good system as well as GlassRenu. Henry Grover also sells the Wobble wheel, a slow release pad of cerium oxide. His blog is called Glass Smart.
