Dry streaks Unger Ninja

Hi guys

Have you ever experienced “dry streaks” when fanning?
It appears on the glass just seconds after fanning and then its gone.
I’ve been trying to look at the glass when the sun is up, but there is nothing, it’s perfectly fine…

It makes me frustrated, I feel like I need to change my rubber all the time.

Is this normal, anybody?

Its sounds like you’re leaving some water on the glass. Most likely from too much pressure which flattens the squeegee rubber. And or not holding the tool at the correct angle. This is a very common mistake for new guys especially on closing out. I’d suggest making sure the back of your handle is around 3 - 4 inches away from the glass. And try applying a little less pressure.

Thx Luke for taking your time. I will definitely try applying less pressure
