Dive bombs

is there a real good video out about dive bombs? i saw some but not always that good.
what i want to know specifically is what about the upper frame. you have to detail the upper one right? or am i missing something?

i know @Luke and @SteveO (mentioned since they do the most of these videos) have said they don’t usually detail. I have found that with good smooth commercial frames, I usually get a good glide on the edges (and don’t over soak the top) I usually don’t have to detail hardy at all. Residential is different for me since the type of frames varies greatly, if there’s wooden frames or heavy silicone, I do a lot more detailing.

One trick I use though when working face to window is instead of using a rag, I’ll use just the edge of a small squeegee to cut around the edges and then with my main squeegee I’ll cut in and fan. For the most part this cuts out most additional detailing for me.

What my dad (30y of Wc experience) teaches me is to first clean the edges with a sponge. Think it’s kinda (very) old skool and time consuming and not that accurate. Maybe I should try different techniques at home.

Btw I use mainly the standard ergotec squeezee.

Saw this one but it’s kinda hard to watch. :joy: bad filming

No detailing upper in any application.

It is definitely a skill ya wanna learn. Some windows ya wanna go slower and some windows, ya can super fast. Did 3 house today 245 each and was done 2 hours each. Barely detailed any of those window. I wish i was able to do there carpets tho. I just wasn’t able sell it them today.
