CRM software

Hi L and R. Thanks for all your help. As far as a CRM, do you still believe in House Call Pro? Do they still treat you right ? I was also looking into JOBBER as they are a service based CRM as well. For someone starting out, HCP seems so expensive.
I’d love to hear your thoughts as I value your opinions.

Thanks ,
Tony

Personally, I haven’t kept up with HCP to say a whole lot, but I did do a trial with them for one month last year and it was very affordable at least for the trial. That way you can at least try it out before committing long term.

I use The Customer Factor. $45 per month. Has so many features but I’m not a fan of their app a whole lot. I have been curious how it compares to Jobber

We’ve been using Jobber for 1.5 years. It’s a great CRM. The online version is great for office/admin work, and the app is great for working in the field. I went through a period of trying multiple CRM’s until I landed with Jobber, and the thing I learned about CRM’s, is that there is no one CRM out there that will be perfectly tailored to fit your company’s needs and budget. There’s always something that could be a little different to better suit how you operate, and that’s okay. To me, when I let go of finding the “ideal CRM” it made it easier to decide to commit to one.
I also tried The Customer Factor. Man, it has EVERYTHING. However, that ended up being the problem. For me, it was very thick and clunky. If I was better skilled (and I don’t think I’m awful) at tech stuff I’d probably get used to it and enjoy the innumerable features of CF, but in the end my admin assistant and I chose to go to Jobber.
There’s my $.02 any way. Hope it’s helpful. The right CRM is a Big Deal.

We still use HCP. They are always doing updates to improve the software. They just came out with a new calendar that makes scheduling much easier.

I still stand by hind their product. Like others have said. A CRM is an important decision, most likely the one you setup is the one you’ll stick with. After getting it setup you’ll never want to do that again :joy::sweat_smile::joy:

I’d do a few demos with the companies you’re interested in. Play with each software for a week or so and then make a decision.

It’s a great time of year to do that

I’m thinking of getting away from The Customer Factor

Why is that?

It’s only $45 a month. And the amount of features that they have on the website for email automation is absolutely insane. It’s so customizable oh, you can’t beat that aspect of it. Plus it’s got a good invoicing software that people can pay by credit card directly from the invoice and things like that. But I don’t like their app a whole lot. I wish I knew if Jobber was better. This one is almost too complex for simple window cleaning. Maybe if I had more employees I would appreciate it more oh, but it’s just my brother and I.

Would you recommend The Customer Factor for someone who’s tech savvy and an Excel nerd or would you still want something else?

I think there is so many options that you end up spending so much time doing things that you could be spending cleaning windows. For a bigger company with multiple employees and at lease one full time office personnel, I believe it is a better fit. You could have any number of employees set up I believe. But the design of everything is more customizable and the automation and drip automation is pretty cool. Just too complex for a couple people cleaning windows needs.

The software doesn’t interact with excel much from my use.

People hate that.
