Critique on technique (videos included)

Looking for any comments, critiques or recommendations anyone can give me. I feel like I’m getting better, but not sure if it shows in the videos. In the first video I’m using a T-bar and pole from Ettore that I got at Lowe’s. The channel and handle are Ninja. In the second video I’m using a 14-inch Liquidator with an Accelerator handle and an 18-inch Super Channel with a Ninja handle. Using an Unger pole which I love.

First video shot September 21 and second video shot October 9, nearly three weeks later.

Huge improvement. I see you got rid of the spray bottle. Use a bottle on a belt and a bucket in the truck. When fanning you need to take deeper bites. The term is building a Mountian and bringing it down. Yeah, I noticed that. I thought I was taking massive chunks out of the glass, but in the video I’m taking hardly anything. That’s what I’ll work on immediately to try to overstep it.

It is great that you have DVDs. I’ll be purchasing them as soon as I can, but I don’t even have gas money to go find jobs right now. I’m out today trying to get jobs and am walking around town trying to peddle my services. Ha. Will order soon, though.

What a huge improvement man! Are you using the liquidator channel?

@Luke, yes I am. I’m using the Accelerator handle and the Liquidator channel to hit the edges then when I get it to where I can reach everything I’m hitting it with the Ninja handle and Super Channel. I’m trying to find what I like and the ways I want to do it and notice I like a lot of the same stuff you guys do. I don’t know if it’s just common in the window cleaning world, but it’s strange. I mean I use an Unger rag (forget the actual name of it) just like Reanna, I was watching a video the other day and saw the pouch you had on your belt was exactly the one I use, I hate the Moerman pole and heard Reanna say she hates the pole, I use a Super Channel with a Ninja handle and freaking love the hell out of my Accelerator handle and the Fliq. I can honestly see how someone could not enjoy it the Liquidator channel, but I seriously like how it gets the edges and it’s starting to grow on me.

Great improvements. You will only keep getting better and better. I’m going on two years now and I still keep learning and perfecting my ways.

@Jwilliams, did you find it hard to find business when you first got started?

As of right now I only clean windows part time. I have afew recurring storefronts and do some residential. Yeah it was hard to pick up the accounts I have. I did a lot of canvassing and talking with store owners/manager. I have had really good luck with using a app called Next Door. I picked up a lot of residential window jobs as well as gutter cleaning and pressure washing. And to be honest after this hurricane that hit my town head on I don’t know how much window cleaning I’ll be doing for awhile. My city is pretty much demolished.
