Cold weather solution

Hey so the colder weather is coming to Georgia next week. Weather says it will be in the mid 20’s How should I prepare my solution? And can I still use GG4?

I recently moved to Philadelpia from Arizona and this is my 1st year in the cold but I have found mixing some windshield washer fluid seems to work fine. Maybe some one can comment on a good ratio. I used about a 2 to 1 ratio and had no freezing issues at around the 20 degree range. I have read others say you should wear gloves so as not to get it on your skin. I see no reason why you should not use gg4 with the mix.

I’m in Idaho, I have cleaned windows without anything mixed in at 20 degrees, but that’s with no wind. If you are that low and you have wind plus shade, you may want to have a bottle with windshield fluid in it to squirt on there while against the glass. Use the water to rinse and defrost as necessary.
If that doesn’t work, I would add fluid to your water, you’ll have to play with your ratio because it will depend on what grade you get. If you get -20 I would use a half gallon for every gallon of water, that’s what I have done. Use normal water when you are mixing though, warm or hot water will evaporate the alcohol that keeps the solution from freezing faster.
Hope that helps!
