Hi Luke,
We are looking at poles… just wondering which pole is stiffer…micro gold? Or Timberwolf? Trying to make decision but hard when you can’t have hands on? We live in Canada and couldn’t make it to the show this year…any feedback would be appreciated,

Hi!

The Timberwolf is a high mod carbon fiber so it’s going to be more rigid than the micro gold which is a ultra high mod. But the Timberwolf is a little heavier than the micro. It’s always a give and take when it comes to rigidity and lightness.

Hi @HeathandToby, I’m the distributor for Xero poles in Canada. I haven’t yet put my hands on the Timberwolf but hear it’s a great pole. I think the difference between the two (Timberwolf vrs Micro) will really come down to features. Both should be a great bang for your buck. Let me know if you need me to quote you on anything. We live very close to the US and can purchase our pole from the US. What is the price of the Xero Trad 2.0 carbon fibre pole and when do you think you will have it in stock?
