Call backs

Hey! So I’m wondering what you guys do about getting your usual clients back every year. Do you call them every spring and ask if they want to have their windows cleaned or do you let the clients call you?
Every spring I have been calling my residential clients and telling them that because they have had a service with us the last year, if they want another service with us this year, we prioritize our existing clients over new ones for booking dates.
What do you guys do?

when I get a new res client I always talk to them about when the think they would like to reschedule. Most are annual, some semi annual. I mark ahead on my calendar to call back at a particular time Ahead of when I expect to be booked up. So like you said, I try to give them priority, but once the calls start coming in the busy season it gets harder for me to keep up with and I just take the jobs as they come. Most of my clients are pretty good at calling me back when they’re ready though. Usually right around the same time each year.

We send out postcards as reminders throughout the Spring. We have about 250 or so residential customers, add each year and some sad to say die or move out of the area. But for me and my wife, enough to do. But yeah, sending out postcards work well for us, been doing that over 10 years. There’s other ways too, find what works for you.

Excellent tactic! Thank you!

It is very true that once the busy season starts it isn’t easy to keep up! Calling ahead of time is a great way to book your priority clients in advance!
Thanks for the tip! :ok_hand:t2:

Postcards sound like a great idea! Do you use a service for it or send them all personally?

We use post cards and have it marked as a reminder on CRM after 6 months to send out a post card. Send Jim is one service and there are several other ways to send post cards. We also make phone calls sometimes

Send them out ourselves. We get the postcards made for us though.
