Alternative to razor blades?

I got a request from a builder recently to give prices on CCU.
they emailed back and said they do not allow any metal on the windows. I know they have had a lot of problems with their current window cleaner scratching the windows. Instead of claiming that either their current window guy sucks, or that the windows in their multi million dollar houses are terrible quality. I guess i need to find an alternative to metal razor blades and steel wool.
Has anyone found a good substitute?

Also, they asked me if that if i cant use metal tools, if that would raise my prices. should it?

So they do make plastic razor blades. We tested some out and they worked just fine. It did take longer to get everything off, you have to change the blade more frequently, and you have to use more pressure but it got the job done.

Yes I would charge more. It’s restoration work, not just cleaning.

Oil-Flo or similar products from Titan Labs may be an option here

Can use baby powder on silicone. Damp microfiber will take a lot of stuff off. And goo gone for hard stuff.

you can also use coconut oil and baking soda to get sticky and gunky stuff off of surfaces and it won’t cause any chemical damages like some of the commercial solvents.
