2019 Realistic Goals

After Christmas I will be sitting down with my wife and setting some business goals for 2019. I started my business back up this year with a different mindset. I want to be as realistic as possible with income, systems and growth. I have a couple of ideas but am looking for more ideas and advice. Have any of you set your goals for 2019 yet? If so, what are some of the goals you have set? If you have not set goals for 2019 yet, when will you set them and what are some of the things you will focus on?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my fellow window cleaning brothers and sisters! :snowflake::snowman_with_snow::santa::partying_face::gift:

Since I’m still pretty new with working for myself, I need to learn discipline with money. Next year I’m gonna try paying myself just a certain amount each week, and putting the rest in the bank. I could build enough residential clients to save through the year and take a couple months off in the winter if I’m smarter about it. That’s my first goal with my business.

We are looking to increase sales this year by 50%. This is our main goal for 2019.

Yes! That’s a great goal! I’m actually aiming for about 75%-100% growth next year. Although, since I’m newer in the biz, it’s probably not as steep of a climb. Comparing 2016-2018 it can happen! Here’s to hoping! If I make this goal, I will be full time working on my own year round.

I want to start selling to residential, get another vehicle in case my current one breaks down and would like to get to a sustainable income. I want to grow sales consistently through 2018 and would like to sell no less than $100 monthly deals in January and up it $25 every month. I’ve realized that advertising is the lifeblood of a company and I feel like I’m getting my wings with the general squeegees, etc., so I plan on really trying to market this spring to residential, chains such as Wendy’s and McDonald’s and to big commercial peroperties such as apartment complexes and car lots. I would also like to join associations such as BNIs and Apartment Associations. Would like to get my banners up all over Joplin.

Good job! Marketing will be key!

Work on your site and try to canvass and door hang as much as possible.

I set a goal to increase my Liability to 1 mill 2 mill, it is in effect in February of 2019. I am focusing on wanting more commercial accounts banks, a couple motel type businesses to fill the books, work more with property management firms also. Work hard everyone. Set the goals and start accomplishing them 1 at a time.

How’s everyone doing with their goals from last year?

I’m still working my self discipline with finances and organization. Those are not my strongest areas. But…Looking at my income from 2018/2019 I reached my big goal almost on the dot of doubling! When people used to ask me what I did for work, I’d be like “um… well I’m trying to do this and that”… now, when people ask, I’m proud to say I work for myself as a Window Cleaner!

That’s awesome man! Congrats!

We came very close to our goal. We increased sales by 39% from 18-19. We are excited about what we accomplished as far as sales

One of our main areas we want to focus on this year is employee retention and training.

And of course increasing sales again
