Which computer system do you have? Mac or PC?
Also, what is your media source? Action camera (Gopro, Yi4K, DJI, etc.), DSLR, Cell phone? Some editing software does not intuitively work with some cameras and their media files.
What is your budget?
Just FYI, I worked in the film industry as an on set editor as well as teaching post production at a University in my younger years. I can speak from a fairly expert level on this subject.
