I reread my reply and it sounds like I’m ticked off. I’m laughing so hard right now because I know I looked like a dumb ass.
No buddy I dont think that
It’s all good
Well some guys charge per square foot, some I’ve even heard charging by home or like $99 per house (up to 20 windows).
It’s all up to you. I’ve had the best luck charging by window.
Once you clean more residential I think you’ll get a feel for it.
I know you’re probably sick of hearing it …but it’s all about speed and efficiency. Once your in a good groove and you have some speed to you , you should start being able to pick up how much you can make per hour. We shoot for at least a $100.00 per man hour on res. Dosent always happen and sometimes we make more. This morning reanna and I cleaned a home In and out in about 1 hour and made 275.00. Not too bad. We have cleaned it before tho and it’s a split level ranch with big casements. Easy for wfp
Please do not invest that much time for a quote. I understand the need for jobs. That is why I brought up "flat rate pricing’. It is better to give an educated quote than to waste time driving for a possible job.
Don’t do that, please, it breaks my heart.
You had me at “… it breaks my heart.” Ha. You’re a softy, aren’t you?
Perhaps…
I have been there. Learn from our mistakes please.
I think if the drive is completely out of the way I would have her send me pictures. I had a flat rate per window. Also, if it is a 45 minute drive for just her, I might suggest a fuel charge, unless she can get you a referral, then don’t charge that. That’s a long way to drive just to give a quote and possibly have them say no. I’ve done a quote over text while I was at my day job, I’m doing that job today Starting out is hard, your hungry and determined, but your time is super valuable, that hour and a half you spend driving could be used for getting some store fronts or restaurants or medical facilities. Those are my two cents. I wish you the best @Stoneface!
Id probably charge $50. Id clean the screens and wipe the frames. Thats outside only. Double for inside.
